The ERC congress, Resuscitation 2018, was held in Bologna, Italy in the north of italy.  

Together with 1311 people you could see the Austrian team winning the CPR competition.

We welcome a new honorary member: Dr dr Burkhard Dirks.

The winner of the Best of the best abstract was

The highlight of the congress was when Prof. dr Leo Bossaert received a Lifetime Achievement Award for devoting his career to resucitation, but also for being one of the founding fathers of the ERC.

It was a complete surprise for him and he accepted the honour with a lot of emotions.
A standing ovation was a clear sign that this award was widly supported by the ERC family.

This congress has been granted 16 European CME credits (ECMEC®s) by the European Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®).
